The Butterfly Man
Something compels me to document and write about my life on social media sharing my personal experiences living with Epidermolysis Bullosa. If you’d enjoy having a raw, candid, vulnerable window to look through into the life of someone who lives with Epidermolysis Bullosa you can find me on Instagram and Tiktok under the username: Kingnamedjeremiah
Hello, my name is Jeremiah Marshall, and I am the facilitator of Butterfly Breathwork. I was born with an extremely rare genetic connective tissue condition called Epidermolysis Bullosa. This condition is characterized by fragile skin that blisters and tears with minimal friction, earning it the nickname “Butterfly Skin.”
From a young age, my journey with this condition taught me resilience and the importance of nurturing inner strength. My approach to breathwork is deeply influenced by my experiences—both the challenges and the beauty of overcoming them.
At Butterfly Breathwork, I create a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their inner landscapes through the power of breath. This practice is not just about physical healing but also about emotional and spiritual growth. Each session is custom-tailored to meet your unique needs, guiding you toward self-discovery and transformation.
In 2020, I discovered the transformative practice of breathwork through the enlightening teachings of Joe Dispenza and Wim Hof. Eager to harness the power of my breath, I devoted myself to teaching myself various breathing exercises by exploring a wide array of YouTube videos, all in an effort to help me cope with the chronic, uncontrollable, and spontaneous symptoms of Epidermolysis Bullosa and the profound toll it was taking on my mental health. By May of 2024, fueled by my desire to deepen my understanding and experience of my adopted breathwork practices, which I had cultivated and made my own over the past four years, I found myself deeply passionate about this practice. It has proven invaluable in helping me cope with an incredibly ruthless, unforgiving, and incurable disease. In my journey, I plan to use the unique methods I developed, which are derived from Joe Dispenza’s teachings and enriched by my trauma-informed certification training in Introspective Breathwork with The One Breath Institute. I have implemented these techniques in my daily life, and I am excited to equip you with them as well, empowering you to cultivate a greater capacity, increased tolerance, and enhanced resilience in order to navigate the various challenges life presents while inviting you to live more fully in the present moment.
